FUNK Shiitake Mushroom Chips Brand & Packaging Design: This class project involved developing a bold brand identity and packaging system for FUNK, a conceptual snack food brand offering shiitake mushroom chips as a flavorful, sustainable alternative to traditional potato chips. The visual language emphasizes energy, playfulness, and psychedelic flair to disrupt conventional expectations within the snack food aisle.
GOALS
+  Create a memorable identity for a vegetarian, plant-based snack concept
+  Appeal to a broad and diverse audience, including health-conscious customers and adventurous snack-lovers
+ Use color, typography, and illustration to establish a distinct and exciting shelf presence

OUTCOMES
The final packaging system captures the brand’s funky, high-energy personality while standing out in the snack market. The design invites curiosity and communicates flavor-forward, sustainable snacking with a visual punch, allowing FUNK to stand out as a fresh player in the health-conscious snack space.
